Epping Cottage Crafts annual Christmas craft sale
Our apologies - we no longer hold our Christmas craft sale
We've recently received a lot of emails from people asking whether Epping Cottage Crafts Christmas Sale will go ahead this year.
Unfortunately, the answer is no - it was decided in early 2023 that there will be no more Epping Cottage Crafts Christmas Sales, due to the age of our members, several of whom have now retired and moved out of Sydney.
The good news is the majority of our members who were at our last sale in 2019 do continue to make their craft available through other craft groups. You can click on the links below for more details about each group. All of these groups have a mailing list that you can join.
North Shore Craft Group hold sales at Thornleigh Community Centre in June and November. Their 2023 Christmas sale is on November 17th to 19th. Click on their website for more details.
Gordon Handcrafts (or the Local Handcraft Association) is the group who used to run the handcraft shop in Gordon. Their 2023 Christmas sale is at the St Ives shops, starting next Monday 13th November, for two weeks.
Artists and Craftsmen of Pittwater hold sales at Mona Vale and Narrabeen, and are the longest established group that we know, having started in 1967. Their 2023 Christmas sale will be December 15 to 17, at Mona Vale.
Wheel and Weft hold their sales at Thornleigh Community Centre, their Christmas sale was in October.
Avalon Craft Cottage hold most of their sales at the St Ives shops, and a few at Warriewood shops. Their final 2023 sale was in October.
Thank you for your support over the 36 years of our Christmas Sales in Epping and Eastwood. We had always retained some funds to set up the next year's sale, and when we closed, we donated that money to our hosts, the Eastwood Scouts.
We would be grateful if you continue to support our members through the other craft groups that they belong to.
We will keep both our website and our email address running for another year, and enquiries are always welcome.
Merry Christmas from all of us.
